Mujeeb Kanji finishes top of his class!

Mujeeb Kanji, pictured above (2nd from right), beaming with joy as he was formally announced the topper in his class with a distinguished DDD* grade in the National Diploma Business Program.  Others in the picture are Stuart Lund, International External Verifier (IEV) - extreme left, Rumishael Peter, Assessor in Business and Travel and Tourism Programs, and on the extreme right Mohamedarif Suleman, Director of ECC and Lead Internal Verifier (IV).

Having started slow in a class of 12 learners, Mujeeb took the last laps in style as he scored successive DISTINCTION grades, showing tremendous potential in his abilities.  Mujeeb currently serves as an Academic Co-ordinator under a scholarship-cum-work-study program.

Academic International Primary School - heading for glory


The efforts of the AIPS school administration headed by the School head Mrs Maghimbi and quiz co-ordinator Ms Miriam, are bearing fruit as the school's massive participation in the InterSchools League (ISL) Quiz has positioned it for certain glory at the end of the 2012/13 contest season with a points haul quite beyond the reach of most other schools in the league.

Seen above is a cross section of the students attending a recent presentation ceremony where students were honoured with gift vouchers from Masumin Printways & Stationers, and Al-Redha Lighting.

Kebede who hails from Stanford University, is currently involved in HR research focused on human capital development in emerging African markets.

ECC Director in People Power Training

The training which was conducted under the theme of Selling Techniques for Optimum Results is one of several successful training workshops organised by the city-based HR company throughout the year, featuring a variety of speakers, trainers and facilitators.

ECC takes ACCA tuitions to Mlimani area

Under a special collaboration agreement, East Coast College will now be providing ACCA tuitions to students who are unable to attend classes at the City Centre at the Kilimanjaro Institute of Technology and Management (KITM) in Mlimani Area.

Located at the spacious Mama Ngoma House, KITM attracts students from various nearby and far off areas offering convenient classroom environment and timings.

Classes take off in January, ready for the exams in June 2013.
